Landscape and Plant Irrigation

  • Drip irrigation systems and hand-watering with a hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle are allowed on any day, but must adhere to the time restrictions mentioned above.

New Landscapes

  • Newly installed landscapes may be watered daily with an automatic irrigation system for the first 30 days after installation but must follow the restricted hours.

Vehicle Washing

  • Vehicles can only be washed at commercial car washes or with a hose fitted with a shut-off nozzle.
  • Home washing is allowed on your designated watering days and must be done on lawns or permeable surfaces to avoid runoff.

Pool and Spa Maintenance

  • Filling of new pools and spas is allowed.
  • Topping off existing pools and spas is permitted, but residents are encouraged to cover pools when not in use to minimize evaporation.

Prohibited Activities

  • Washing driveways, sidewalks, and other impervious surfaces: Only allowed for health and safety purposes.
  • Decorative Fountains and Water Features: Must be turned off unless they use recycled water.

Enforcement and Penalties

  • Violations of these water restrictions will result in penalties. A first-time violation will receive a warning. Subsequent violations will incur fines starting at $50, escalating with repeated offenses.
