    • Even-numbered addresses: Thursday and Sunday
  • Times:
    • Allowed only before 10 AM and after 6 PM to reduce evaporation.

Exceptions

  • Drip irrigation systems and soaker hoses are exempt from day-of-week restrictions but must still comply with time restrictions.

Enforcement and Penalties

To ensure compliance, the City of Azle will be conducting regular inspections and monitoring water usage. Violation of these restrictions may result in:

  • First offense: Warning notice
  • Second offense: $50 fine
  • Subsequent offenses: $200 fine per incident

Tips for Water Conservation

  1. Check for leaks regularly in your plumbing and irrigation systems.
  2. Use mulch around plants to retain moisture and reduce evaporation.
  3. Install water-efficient fixtures such as low-flow showerheads and toilets.
  4. Collect rainwater with barrels to use for outdoor watering.
  5. Choose native plants that require less water and are more drought-resistant.
